Job Purpose: Shape the Future of Pricing at Barentz

As Pricing Analyst EMEA, you’ll join a dynamic, fast-paced team driving one of the most important strategic initiatives in the company.
This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in building something from the ground up. You’ll work alongside the newly established pricing team, the Commercial Center of Excellence, with the Pricing Manager EMEA to develop and embed smarter, more effective pricing strategies across our European operations.

In your first months, your focus will be on refining and rolling out our new pricing software across multiple countries. You’ll support local teams in adopting value-based pricing, guide them in setting target margins, and ensure alignment across divisions. As you grow in the role, you’ll become a trusted business partner – leading workshops, identifying opportunities, and helping commercial teams unlock real, measurable value through smarter pricing.
Key Responsibilities
Be a true business partner, drive commercial performance by advising, supporting, and constructively challenging divisions on all pricing-related matters.
Guide newly onboarded countries and divisions in building value-based markups that align with our strategic approach.
Act as the admin for our new pricing platform: maintain the price waterfall, onboard and train new users, prioritize feature improvements, and test new functionality.
Design impactful pricing analytics tailored for a distribution environment, helping commercial teams make confident, data-driven decisions.
Act as a bridge between headquarters, divisions, and different functions to ensure alignment, share learnings, and encourage collaboration across regions.
What Success Looks Like
The new pricing methodology is effectively implemented across divisions, with strong local adoption.
CPQ tooling and KPI dashboards are up and running, supporting strategic and operational pricing decisions.
Sales teams see you as a trusted pricing partner, actively participating in Price/Margin Cycle Workshops.
New pricing and margin opportunities are identified and realized – making a measurable impact on the bottom line.

Your Background
You have outstanding analytical skills.
Pricing experience is a strong advantage – ideally with exposure to price waterfalls, discount structures, project pricing, list price setting, and portfolio management, either in a consulting or B2B environment.
B2B sector knowledge – Experience in distribution, wholesale, or ingredients is a plus, particularly within an international, matrix-structured organization.
You hold a master’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field.
Familiarity with CPQ systems and PO&M implementations is beneficial.
Experience with tools like Power BI is a plus.
You are fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are an asset in this multicultural role.
