About this role
Job Purpose: Demand Planning & Sales Support
Are you a proactive team player with a talent for forecasting, planning, and supporting a smooth sales process? In this dual role, you’ll play a vital part in both demand planning and sales support, ensuring that our inventory aligns with customer demand while also delivering exceptional support to our sales team and B2B customers.
You’ll forecast product demand accurately to maintain optimal inventory levels. Working closely with our sales and supply chain teams, your insights will help ensure that customer demand is met in a timely and efficient manner, contributing to seamless operations and customer satisfaction. You’ll provide valuable support to Sales Managers by handling administrative tasks and managing order processes. As a point of contact for our B2B customers, you’ll assist throughout the sales cycle to ensure a smooth and satisfying experience, aligning with our overall sales strategy.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Demand Planning:
- Develop short- and long-term Demand Plans for assigned suppliers using statistical analysis and ERP reports to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Actively support the S&OP process by presenting demand insights and ensuring data accuracy, collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, quality, supply chain, and more) to align demand plans.
- Provide detailed forecasts and purchase estimates to principal managers and suppliers, inputting data as required.
- Prepare Purchase Proposal Advices and closely monitor inventory, recommending adjustments to align with customer demand and optimize company KPIs.
- Respond to availability inquiries, approve material allocations, and make data-driven recommendations for safety stock.
Sales Support:
- Partner with the sales team to reach key performance targets, setting up accurate quotes and managing contracts and forecasts.
- Support Sales Managers in developing account plans and long-term sales strategies, contributing to closing deals and managing business opportunities.
- Ensure precise data entry in CRM/ERP systems, updating market information to support future business growth.
- Manage customer forecast, contracts and sales orders, setting up calculations in support of customer quotes, manging, handle customer complaints (non-conformities), and resolve processing errors.
- Assist with customer inquiries via email and phone, enhancing the overall customer experience.
About You
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Commercial Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or sales support.
- Proficient in data analysis with ERP systems, aligning business demands to meet company KPIs and supplier standards.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
Specific Skills:
- Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail, along with proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling seamless collaboration across departments and with stakeholders at various levels.
- Capable of seeing the big picture while managing details efficiently.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, applying broad knowledge of operational procedures to achieve objectives.
