Founded in 1997, Barentz France stands out for its commitment to over 700 customers, thanks to a highly specialized team of food engineers, pharmacists, cosmetics and production experts.
In May 2022, Barentz acquired Unipex, a French specialties distributor with over 50 years' experience. This strategic acquisition strengthened our presence in France and enhanced our solid European network in the personal care, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, human nutrition and performance materials markets.
In the same year, our expertise in nutraceuticals was further strengthened by the acquisition of Natural, a supplier of premium quality, naturally sourced plant and functional ingredient solutions to the nutraceutical industry in France and Europe. In November 2024, the various entities merge to become Barentz France. Natural will join the group in early 2025.
With our in-depth knowledge of the French market and our technical expertise, we are committed to supporting our partners in all their projects by providing them with innovative, responsible ingredients tailored to their specific needs.
