Barentz Acquires Specialty Ingredients Distributor ACE Trade in Czech Republic

Barentz International, a leading global life science ingredients distributor, acquired ACE Trade CZ, a distributor of specialty ingredients for the personal care, homecare and industrial markets. The company has over 24 years of experience in the specialty ingredients sector and is well known for the added value it brings to the cosmetics industry. Certain activities will be integrated into the Barentz CZ operations over the coming six months, whilst the current ACE Trade management oversees a smooth transition. ACE Trade CZ will continue to operate under its own name and entity for a limited period of time.  

Highlights:

• The acquisition strengthens Barentz’ presence in Czech Republic, particularly in the personal care, homecare and industrial performance materials market segments, in addition to some activities in the human nutrition market
• The acquisition further extends Barentz CZ’s strong local network of logistic centers and application laboratories
• The current ACE Trade managing director will remain in charge during the integration of all activities into Barentz CZ
