Hoofddorp, the Netherlands - June 25, 2025 - Barentz, a leading global specialty ingredients solutions provider, has published its 2024 Corporate Sustainability Report, highlighting progress across key environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas.
Over the past year, Barentz was awarded EcoVadis® Gold status, placing the company among the top-performing businesses globally for its ESG practices. The company also achieved a 19% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions compared to its 2022 baseline, moving closer to the 2030 target of a 35% reduction.
The report highlights further expansion of Barentz’ responsible innovation, including low-solvent and waterless solution formats. Barentz also reached its goal of assessing 80% of its supplier base (by revenue) for ESG performance, strengthening transparency and collaboration across the value chain.
